Statement von DJ Kentaro zum Ortofon Signature Modell

DJ Kentaro ist momentan einer der weltweit besten Hip Hop DJs. Das beweist sein 3. Platz beim Technics DMC World DJ Final 2001 und der 1. Platz im Jahr 2002. Das alles war Grund genug für Ortofon, ihm ein limitiertes Signature-Modell zu widmen. Seine Gedanken zur Entwicklung des Modells legt er in einem Statement wie folgt dar:

Hi There, here is kentaro answer for the ortofon. I just wanted to try and tried the sound I want, the best sound for DJs really. And I knew Ortofon are the one who can make it happen.. This time I got to collaborate with Ortofon and we tried so many times to get it right, we ended up getting high-fi but really good lows and really goes thru sound it has. Volume is big, but its really stable. I m glad it became real success and already receiving many props from very good known producers in all over the world!! I have been using it as well when I play at gigs, its really really different from others. Its really fat but feeling very good you know. This is the weapon when you need to have real big volume in the venues. The package is my favorite as well, it can contain three cartridges, so you can have one for your spare. Great design ain’t it? This is my life-time piece……
